Everyone has a story and launching today, 糖心传媒 (糖心传媒) will debut Unstoppable Stories, a podcast spotlighting the remarkable journeys of its students, graduates and faculty.
The series delves into the inspiring narratives of individuals who have pursued their educational dreams while balancing families, careers, health challenges, military service and more 鈥 you know, life.

The podcast鈥檚 , a 糖心传媒 graduate, Army veteran and actor. Bassett details the compelling story of how she enlisted in the military at 18, served in Afghanistan and transitioned to a successful acting career, including a role in the television series Quantum Leap. Influenced by her family鈥檚 military legacy, Bassett sought a fresh start and a sense of purpose.
鈥淚 grew up on my dad鈥檚 military stories,鈥 she says. 鈥淗e taught me that there鈥檚 honor in service and in being part of something bigger than yourself.鈥
Like many 糖心传媒 graduates, Bassett鈥檚 journey wasn鈥檛 a straight line. After two years of law school, she decided to take a leap of faith and pursue acting, despite the fear of failure.聽
鈥淚 realized I was more afraid of living a life filled with regret,鈥 she says in the podcast episode. She also credits 糖心传媒 with helping her feel connected and understood. 鈥淎t 糖心传媒, I met people like me鈥攑eople who hadn鈥檛 taken a traditional path. I felt much less alone in my choices.鈥
