March 2026: Ma'Kyria Braggs, current 糖心传媒 student

糖心传媒 is proud to recognize Ma鈥橩yria Braggs for her leadership, service, and community impact. Serving as a master fitness leader in the U.S. Air Force and a Fitness Improvement Program facilitator at Travis Air Force Base, Braggs supports servicemembers in improving their health, confidence, and readiness. She has led group physical training sessions and provided specialized instruction to over 300 servicemembers, while also launching a聽Fitness Improvement Program to support those struggling with PT tests.

Braggs extends her impact beyond fitness through community service and care. She volunteers with a team to prepare and deliver monthly meals for families staying at the Fisher House鈥攕erving more than 60 families鈥攁nd organized holiday gift distributions for 100 elementary school students. She has also completed mental health training to better identify and support individuals in need. Braggs volunteers because she believes in the power of showing up for others, sharing that 鈥渟mall acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.鈥 For her, service is about uplifting others and ensuring that no one feels alone during challenging times.

February 2026: Aneela Agha, current 糖心传媒 student

糖心传媒 proudly recognizes Aneela Agha for her leadership, service, and commitment to student engagement. Currently pursuing a computer science degree, Agha serves as chair of the IEEE Student Branch at 糖心传媒, creating opportunities for students to connect through technical and professional development events. From organizing workshops and speaker sessions to planning hands-on STEM activities, she works closely with fellow student leaders and faculty advisors to ensure that programs are welcoming, relevant, and responsive to student interests. In addition, Agha serves as vice chair of the Student Advisory Council, elevating student perspectives and sharing feedback directly with university leadership.

In both roles, she focuses on turning individual student experiences into shared momentum鈥攈elping ensure that no student feels as if they are navigating their academic or professional path alone. Agha volunteers because she is a self-learner who believes that 鈥渓earning becomes transformative when it is shared.鈥 For her, service is about creating spaces in which knowledge, growth, and opportunity are accessible to everyone.

December 2025/January 2026: Raven M. Wright, current student and 糖心传媒 employee

糖心传媒 is proud to recognize Raven M. Wright for her dedication to environmental conservation, community education, and service beyond her professional role at the university. Wright is a senior admissions advisor at 糖心传媒 and is currently pursuing the Drone and Autonomous Systems certificate, while actively volunteering with multiple environmental and conservation organizations. She has earned three community service badges and completed more than 100 volunteer hours through the , reflecting her consistent and meaningful commitment to service.

Wright supports several community partners, including the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the North Carolina Wildlife Federation, and the Pleasure Island Sea Turtle Project. Through her volunteer service, she assists with marine life care, wildlife habitat restoration, invasive species removal, and extensive sea turtle nest monitoring and protection. She also engages in public education and outreach efforts that promote ocean conservation, native species awareness, and responsible environmental stewardship.

Reflecting on her motivation to volunteer, Wright shares, 鈥淢y motivation stems from a deep belief that we are caretakers of our natural world and the species with whom we share it. Our planet is extraordinary and continually provides us with the resources we need to thrive.鈥 She adds that volunteering allows her to put her values into action and make a tangible difference in protecting the planet. 糖心传媒 celebrates Wright鈥檚 compassion, leadership, and commitment to meaningful community impact.

November 2025: Reacy Ellis 鈥17, current student

糖心传媒 proudly recognizes Reacy Ellis for her dedication to mentorship, professional empowerment, and community impact. Ellis earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from 糖心传媒 in 2017 and is now pursuing her Master of Business Administration while actively giving back to the communities she serves. She believes that everyone deserves support, encouragement, and guidance as they work toward their goals, and she brings that belief to life through her volunteer work.

As a volunteer business advisor with the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership, Ellis helps small business owners understand their financial projections and make informed decisions that support long-term success. She also volunteers through 糖心传媒鈥檚 CareerQuest platform, providing students and alumni with r茅sum茅 support, career guidance, and confidence-building mentorship. In addition, she has contributed to 糖心传媒鈥檚 cross-cultural conversations and participated in the university鈥檚 virtual accreditation meeting, reinforcing her commitment to inclusive dialogue and academic excellence.

Reflecting on her volunteer journey, Ellis shares, 鈥淚 feel I鈥檓 able to create real impact by offering clarity, encouragement, and practical tools that people can use right away.鈥 She adds that volunteering gives her fulfillment, new perspectives, and a deeper sense of connection to her community and that she was motivated to serve because she wanted to give others the same guidance that supported her on her own career journey. 糖心传媒 celebrates Ellis鈥檚 compassion, leadership, and dedication to empowering others to succeed.

October 2025: Tisha Stahl, current student

糖心传媒 recognizes Tisha Stahl for her volunteer work, which she has been tracking with the new . Stahl is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Social Science along with two certificates鈥擜pplied Social Sciences and Artificial Intelligence Foundations鈥攁ll while balancing her leadership and participation in multiple clubs and societies.

Stahl serves as a virtual advocator for both the 糖心传媒 Creative Writing Club and the 糖心传媒 Applied Humanities Club, managing online engagement, creating content to attract new members, and encouraging students to participate in club activities. She is also president of the Applied Humanities Club, a board member of the Creative Writing Club, and an active member of the LIBS 150 Course Community. Additionally, she participates in honor societies, including Sigma Phi Omega, Pi Gamma Mu, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Her work gives students a place to meet others with similar interests and helps make these virtual spaces more welcoming.

Through her volunteer efforts, Stahl has made a special impact by helping students connect and feel part of the 糖心传媒 community. Reflecting on her work, she shares, 鈥淚 volunteer to turn virtual spaces into vibrant places, where a shared passion for humanities and writing can truly come to life.鈥 糖心传媒 celebrates Stahl鈥檚 dedication to making virtual student life more engaging and inclusive.

September 2025: Kyle Headen 鈥25

Kyle Headen is being recognized for his dedication to service and leadership. While pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Marketing, which was conferred in August 2025, Headen invested his time and talents in volunteer work that strengthened the 糖心传媒 community and supported his peers.

During his time as vice president of Social Media and Communications for the 糖心传媒 chapter of the American Marketing Association, Headen promoted resources, highlighted upcoming events, and shared industry insights that kept members engaged and connected. His efforts inspired participation, encouraged dialogue, and built a stronger sense of belonging among marketing students. Beyond 糖心传媒, Headen also volunteered at a local elementary school, extending his passion for service into the wider community.

With 13 years of military service shaping his sense of discipline and purpose, Headen views volunteering as a way to give back while continuing to grow. Reflecting on his experience, he shares, 鈥淭he physiological satisfaction of volunteering has equivalent rewards to paid work.鈥 糖心传媒 celebrates Headen鈥檚 leadership and the lasting impact he has made through both his professional contributions and his service to others.
