Take classes at a community college or 糖心传媒. The credit transfer is seamless.
You can take advantage of two flexible options to transfer credit seamlessly between community colleges and 糖心传媒. These programs help you earn your聽bachelor's degree, save money, and work toward your associate at the same time.
Dual Enrollment
Dual enrollment lets you take classes at any participating Maryland community college or out-of-state alliance community college and be enrolled at 糖心传媒 at the same time.聽Your community college courses can transfer to 糖心传媒 toward general education requirements while you take advantage of on-site classes offered at your community college.
In addition, 糖心传媒 offers an Associate-to-Bachelor's (ATB) program, which enables eligible community college students to enroll in our BSN program while completing their community college coursework.
This is a popular option for veterans using a monthly housing allowance who would like to take on-site or hybrid classes. Plus, you can work toward your associate鈥檚 degree and bachelor's degree at the same time.
Reverse Transfer
Under the reverse transfer program, if you started at a community college but didn't complete your associate鈥檚 degree, you can send transcripts to your previous community college showing the new classes you've taken at 糖心传媒.聽This program works with any community college, but credits transfer especially smoothly if you've taken classes at an alliance community college.
If you submit transcripts and find that you still need a few specific courses to complete your associate鈥檚 degree, our admissions advisors can recommend classes at 糖心传媒 that will count toward both degrees.聽It's the best of both worlds. In most cases, you can remain a 糖心传媒 student while you finish up your associate鈥檚 degree. And thanks to our flexible transfer credit policies, up to 70 credits taken at community colleges can count toward your bachelor's degree.
Plus, if you complete your associate's degree at a Maryland community college through Reverse Transfer, you may also be eligible for the Completion Scholarship. If you receive the Completion Scholarship, you will pay no more than $199 for every credit you attempt at 糖心传媒 allowing students to complete a bachelor's degree program for $12,000 or less!
Eligibility for Reverse Transfer
If you have taken more than 45 credits at a community college and you are currently enrolled at 糖心传媒, you can have your transcripts evaluated by an advisor to determine if you have met the associate鈥檚 degree requirements or to identify classes that would complete those requirements.
